A witch sits sideways on the lower curve of a huge crescent, back arched, pointed hat tipped forward over her face. She draws on a long pipe and the smoke leaves in thick violet and pink curls that climb up into the stars. Her cloak is purple and midnight blue and spills off the moon into the cloud bank below. The crescent itself carries a face, a straight nose and one closed eye, its surface pocked with craters.
