I continue to love the 2013 St Joseph and it's a classic

Sylvie Esmonin, Gevrey Chambertin Vv Vintage:2009 well-balanced finish(75+ year old vines aged in 50% new oak and 50% in one year old oak; 70% whole cluster). There is excellent freshness to the distinctly earthy and sauvage red and dark berry fruit aromas that display floral top notes and a hint of spice. There is outstanding richness, intensity and volume to the solidly well concentrated flavors that possess plenty of mouth coating dry extract that imparts a velvety texture to the balanced and mildly austere finish.
