In the first season the plants grow rapidly, forming a substantial, thick, 20" tall, green stalk adorned with dark green, serrated edge, evergreen foliage. In late winter, clumps of Helleborus foetidus 'Dunham' are topped with a giant candelabra of green bells that would have made Liberace proud.
