Lycoris radiata var radiata Little Red Riding Hood Hellenia a 2000 introduction from ourLycoris radiata var. radiata 'Little Red Riding Hood' is a 2026 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a previous unreleased Phil Adams selection. For us, Lycoris 'Little Red Riding Hood' bursts out of the ground in very late August with 17" tall stalks, topped with a cluster of screaming scarlet red flowers a perfect fire sign moniker. The foliage emerges in mid October and persists until early spring.
