Vintage Murano Glass Sommerso Basket Vase Archimede Seguso 9.13 Daniel Green slippers Width is 36 inchesThis is a basket vase made in Murano, unsigned, but almost definitely made by Seguso Vetri dArte, which specialized in the sommerso technique of glassmaking. Seguso Vetri dArte was founded in 1932 by Archimede Seguso with other partners. Flavio Poli, who was famous for his Sommerso designs, was artistic director of the firm from 1937 until 1963. The vase is made with a slender bottom and a wide rounded top, measuring 9 1 8 in heigh and 5 3 4 in width
