The one on the left is grey and silver with a single amber eye; the one on the right is white with a pale blue eye, ruff fanning out thick around the jaw. Between and above them runs gold Celtic knotwork over a pool of glowing turquoise, with a second knot closing the composition at the bottom. Red roses climb both sides in full bloom, buds still tight at the outer
