For sale here is a very rare and true-LHW reel made by Dingley during his association with the Walker Bampton shop. 3 1/2" in diameter. Single spring/pawl format with fully functional rim tensioner, resulting in varying tension throughout its range, adequately strong at its tightest setting. Stamped 2 throughout. Original factory monel line guide with factory soldered seam. No line grooves. Original erinoid handle spins freely. Smooth alloy foot may have been filed at some point but is fairly uniform and is 2.5" long. Reels weighs 7.25 oz. This is a really nice mid-range trout reel in a very hard to find true left hand wind configuration from the factory
