The Spur Gear Drive setup has Motor Cross Style performance where as the Pro Belt Drive has a Lower gearing ratio & has more like an Enduro Bike style performance, in that it is still a very fast accelerating ride and looks exactly the same,its just that they have different gearing ratios and therefore not as fast accelerating as the Spur Gear drive, so the lower gearing in the Pro Belt Drive gives it slightly less acceleration than the Spur but has a substantially higher top speed as a consequence
